Theme Me Finale Party

Theme Me: Finale Party

So the other week I had a combination birthday/challenge over party at The Village where all invited had to come dressed in a costume or theme that I had taken on in the last year.

It was an amazing night and a big thanks goes out to all who ventured out in the torrential rain in costume for the occasion! Thanks again Stoli for providing the good times with cheap, delicious cocktails, Steph for the AMAZING tunes that got everyone out on the dancefloor and Smiffy’s who provided the best costume award. Also, a big shout out to Maddie from The Village who helped me get it all organised in time – you’re a lifesaver!

And now for the costumed shots! Please enjoy responsibly šŸ˜‰

Challenge Over!

Happy 27th Birthday Bitch

As you know between my 26th and 27th birthday, I challenged myself to dress up in a different costume every day for a year, for fun. But what I was keeping on the down low was that for theĀ the last 100 days of my challenge, I recorded a few seconds of video. For the last couple of days I have been putting the finishing touches on it. Enjoy!

And as for the blog, I will continue on posting costumes…just not every day. Soon I set off to Europe for a couple of weeks, so when I return I will strive to post up a costume a week to fit one of the following categories:

  1. Household material costumes – costumes made from things you can find in your home
  2. One costume multiple ways – I will take one store-bought costume and show you how it can be used to make multiple costumes
  3. Friends parties – whenever I get invited to a themed party, you’ll see what I’ve come up with here
  4. How to – step by step instructions for those bigger, more elaborate costumes

So let me know which you are most interested in via the poll and I’ll aim to split up the weeks accordingly!
