Day 358: Jaws

Day 358: Jaws

On June 20, 1975, Jaws was released. The film was directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the Peter Benchley novel. The film is set in Amity Island where a giant man-eating Great White shark starts to attack beach goers, causing the Police Chief to join forces with a marine-biologist (and a professional shark hunter) in order to stop it. For this reason, today I have dressed up as a Great White shark myself.

Day 352: 80’s Movie

Day 352: 80's Movie

Today I take on another user-suggested theme – 80’s movie. There were SOOOOOO many good options here – I could do a John Hughes film like Breakfast Club or Pretty in Pink… hang on, nope, already done those. A John Carpenter film like Big Trouble in Little China? Nope, that one too. So then I thought, what would have to be the most ridiculous/outlandish 80’s film I’ve ever seen… and just like that I settled on Teen Wolf. A film about a teenage boy (Michael J. Fox) who when starts turning into a werewolf, uses his supernatural powers to help his school win at basketball. Oh, and did I mention there’s a character called Boof? #bringbackthe80s

Today is the day before Easter, or as I have themed it, Easter Eve. With this I have dressed as the iconic Easter Bunny who is ready to bestow chocolates in the best and most enjoyable form – an Easter Egg hunt!

Today I am taking on the user-suggested theme of “Be the song title” from Dean. The song title I have chosen to create is “La Cucaracha” dressing as a cockroach with a Mexican hat. A big thanks goes to @_MartyPants for the concept and letting me borrow his cockroach costume.

Day 99: World Animal Day

October 4 is known as World Animal Day, so I have decided t dress as a bear. But when I forgot my gloves for the outfit I slowly became: how the Mean Girls characters would dress as bear for Halloween.
