Day 261: Cook Off

Day 261: Cook Off

Today at work we are having an interdepartmental cook-off where we are all cooking something to compete against one another. With this as a theme, I thought it appropriate to dress as a chef. There’s only one thing I love as much as costumes, and that’s food. So I’ve cooked a Moist Chocolate Cake with Salted Caramel Frosting. And yes, it tastes as delicious as it sounds.

Day 256: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Day 256: Buffy the Vampire Slayer

On March 10 1997, Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer debuted on the WB. Ever since I was a young girl, I have loved Buffy. It originally started when I was 7 and my family rented the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie with Kristy Swanson and Luke Perry. That day I watched it 5 times on repeat. Fast forward some years later and the television series made it’s way into popular culture and my loved was re-born. Today I have dressed as Buffy so that I can live out the day as another one of my childhood idols.

Day 230: Christina Ricci

Day 230: Christina Ricci

February 12 is Christina Ricci’s birthday, so today I have decided to dress up as one of my favourite characters as portrayed by Miss Ricci – Wednesday Addams. That whole movie was perfectly cast to be honest, I hope to one day be as hot of a Mortica as Angelica Houston was. But for now I’ll be the little creeper Wednesday. Creep face achieved with a mix of black make-up under-eye circles and cheekbone highlights with the acting talents of my inner stalker.

Day 128: Black & White

Tonight I have been invited to two parties, one being Black theme, the other being White theme. They are both at the same house. The concept is that you choose which to dress as, but I say, why choose when you can be both? and who is both Black and White? Michael Jackson of course.

Today I have been summoned for Jury Duty. So of course after the initial – “Oh Fuck” – I thought “What costume will I wear?”. So I settled on a prisoner. So inappropriate, but oh so right.
