How about dressing as a baby ?, you could wear a nappy , plastic pants a dummy and a bonnet. Or you could get disposable nappy from chemist or something.
Hey There!
I am not sure if anyone has made you aware, but 4th of May is official Star Wars day –
May the fourth be with you !
So (even tho you have maybe been inspired before), old School star wars for me…….Princess Leia, C3PO, Chewbacca maybe???
hey mary,
i have a couple of ideas
first one i thought of was pipi longstokings.
second one , lady gaga
third one super women
fourth on kate middleton
and last one rihanna
How about Mel Gibsons character on Brave Heart where he had half his face painted blue and had the full scotish kilt outfit on for the big sceen at the end of the movie where he said ” you can take our land but you can never take our freedom”
A molecular process! I haven’t looked through all your photos, so I’m not sure if you’ve already done this…but I think it would be awesome if you dressed up as either a molecule (i.e. haemoglobin) OR as a molecular process (i.e. photosynthesis). I realise that to the casual observer this may seem to be the dorkiest possible thing to do, but why on earth would you let that stop you? Also, it’s a challenge and having flicked through some of your blog – I get this funny feeling that you like a challenge. My uber-cool friends and I sometimes play a variant of charades whereby you have to act out some sort of molecular process, (or biological phenomenon – you could try that too! [i.e. bees doing the waggle dance to signal where food for the hive is, birds performing courtship rituals such as lekking, or Atlantic salmon migrating around the globe]) and yes, that game is played with an audience who know their stuff, but still… shows there are ways to get creative with this! Best of luck. This is a sweet project you’ve got going.
More Cosplay as well, anything from japanese Anime, like Sailor moon, easy to get costumes, Also Batgirl, or complete change of pace, Pride and prejudice/
What a great idea, I love it.
I am also known as he costume queen amongst my friends and work colleagues. I always go all out when it comes to any theme party.

I like your concepts, Mary. You have some fantastic ideas. How about a Hollywood Heroines theme, using female characters who have been the heroines in Hollywood movies. It gives you a lot of scope; you could use superheroines, such as Lara Croft, but it could also include such characters as Erin Brockovich and Bridget Jones. In any event, keep up the great ideas!
Hi,
I am a journalist for ConnectPink – I have downloaded your media kit and some pics and have written a story for our social networking site, but I would also love to send the Julia Louis-Dreyfus to Ellen – with your permission. I LOVE IT! What do you think?
I would absolutely LOVE that. I have always secretly hoped that I would get on Ellen because of this challenge! I heard that she was coming to Australia the day after I was on Sunrise, that can mean only one thing: fate.
Let me know if you’d like to have a chat for the piece your writing, more than happy to!
