  6. Sciencia says:

A molecular process! I haven’t looked through all your photos, so I’m not sure if you’ve already done this…but I think it would be awesome if you dressed up as either a molecule (i.e. haemoglobin) OR as a molecular process (i.e. photosynthesis). I realise that to the casual observer this may seem to be the dorkiest possible thing to do, but why on earth would you let that stop you? Also, it’s a challenge and having flicked through some of your blog – I get this funny feeling that you like a challenge. My uber-cool friends and I sometimes play a variant of charades whereby you have to act out some sort of molecular process, (or biological phenomenon – you could try that too! [i.e. bees doing the waggle dance to signal where food for the hive is, birds performing courtship rituals such as lekking, or Atlantic salmon migrating around the globe]) and yes, that game is played with an audience who know their stuff, but still… shows there are ways to get creative with this! Best of luck. This is a sweet project you’ve got going.

I like your concepts, Mary. You have some fantastic ideas. How about a Hollywood Heroines theme, using female characters who have been the heroines in Hollywood movies. It gives you a lot of scope; you could use superheroines, such as Lara Croft, but it could also include such characters as Erin Brockovich and Bridget Jones. In any event, keep up the great ideas!
