Day 188: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Day 188: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had a magical entry into the New Year, if not, fear not, because I bring to you a week of Disney themes to begin the new year! First up, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, dressing as Snow White.

Snow White is the most influential Disney character for me, for as a small child she was the only beautiful character with dark hair that I could look up to and look like. The film is hella boring, but at the time it was historically significant as it was the first full-length animated feature in motion picture history. So let’s all thank Walt Disney for his contribution to cinema. On a personal note I’d like to thank him for his magical legacy that influence me as a child, as I’m sure many others. Say what you will about how it could of all effected me negatively in terms of stereotypes and  roles, it to this day helps me to see the magic in the world around me and will always have a special place in my heart.
