March 25 is Tolkien Reading Day. Tolkien Reading Day is an annual event originally suggested by Sean Kirst (a columnist) and launched by The Tolkien Society in 2003. It aims to encourage the reading of J. R. R. Tolkien books. March 25 was chosen to mirror the fall of Sauron in The Lord of the Rings. With Tolkien as my theme, I have decided to take on the funniest/creepiest/most-dramatic character costume I could…Gollum/Smeagol. You can say a lot of things about me, but afraid to look ugly on the internet I am not.
