On June 16, 1978, Grease was released. Grease would have to be one of my favourite films of all time, it’s one of those childhood classics that when you re-watch makes you feel nostalgic in a warm and fuzzy way. With this as my theme for today, I have chosen to dress as Sandy in the last scene. Only now when I watch this film I realise how inappropriate the moral of the story is for a young girl – change everything about who you are so that the boy will like and date you…awkward. Eh, either way, great musical that I will never stop loving.
