May the 4th is Star Wars day. It is a day when Star Wars fan celebrate the Star Wars films and culture. This day falls on May the 4th because of it’s pun resemblance to the famous film line – “May the force be with you”. Apparently though, Star Wars fans were not the first to pen the pun. In 1979 when Margaret Thatcher was elected Britain’s first female Prime Minister on May 4 her party placed an advertisement in The London Evening News that said “May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations.” Either way, I have but one thing to say to you all on the day:

May the fourth be with you.
