On the 26th of May, 1982, E.T. premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. Steven Spielberg’s film about a lonely boy befriending an extraterrestrial from outer space was a childhood favourite – as it was for many. So with this as my theme today, I have chosen to dress as Elliott as he heroically escapes from the government with E.T, to get him home, hidden under a blanket in his bike basket.
