Last week was my new works’ Christmas party. It was loosely themed Japanese – which means that dressing up in costume was optional. Optional costume is not in my vocabulary….unless it comes after ‘Live your life in’. So I dressed up as a manga school girl, the whole costume held together with the creepy eyelid make-up that took me about 40 minutes…and then later melted off due to the heat. Basically you draw large eyes on your closed eyelids so that when you close your eyes, you look cartoonish. It’s a pretty effective look and thoroughly creeped everyone out – cheese-zu!
