I hope you all had a MARY Christmas yesterday and I know you thought that you were all done with gifts for the year, but here is one last one – my Beauty and the Beast duel costume!

My work Christmas party was themed ‘Duets’ this year, so I decided to create two costumes….sort of. What is better than one half of a costume, but two halves of a costume. I’ve gone for a classic costume split down my face and body where one side is all beauty, and the other all beast. It wasn’t the most comfortable costume to wear, but the ace job (if I do say so myself) on the Beast face make up is really what ties this whole costume together and makes quite the impact. Plus, for the first time I attempted false eyelashes – for the Belle side – and it was quite possibly one of the most stressful costume pieces I’ve ever attempted. Whoever does this all the time, I praise thee. I’m pretty sure I lost about half my eyelashes when I removed it because I put too much glue :S
